About

I have worked with a variety of educational and community projects for the past 17 years and have a strong interest for start-ups and new projects.

I am a trained teacher, and recently relocated to the West Coast of Canada, with my wife Lucy. Prior to making the move we lived in the Netherlands where I working for UWC Maastricht. Before that I worked for UCL Institute of Education in London supporting new teachers as well as for the University of Warwick supervising Masters dissertation students. Alongside this I also coordinated a number of my own projects.

I have worked for

In the UK: UCL Institute of Education, The University of Warwick, The Young Foundation, Teach First, Canterbury Christ Church University, The Studio Schools Trust, as well as a number of secondary schools.

Internationally: United World Schools (Cambodia), Teach First New Zealand, Warwick in Africa (Ghana), Teach for Australia, Kaospilots (Denmark),  The British Expedition Society (Peru), UWC Maastricht (Netherlands) and Nightingales Children’s Project (Romania).

The rest of the time

Away from trying to have educational adventures I am generally found trying to convince more people to try triathlon or falling off a surfboard.
